Built in Liberia, for Liberian health care

Clinic records that keep working when the network doesn't.

ClinicLR runs your whole clinic: registration, consultations, lab, pharmacy, billing in LRD and USD, maternal and chronic care, and insurance claims. On the phones and computers you already have, with or without internet.

Made by Techub Innovation, Monrovia. Screens shown use made-up demonstration records.

Everything in one place

From the front desk to the cashier

Every role sees the screens it needs. A patient moves from reception to triage, the doctor, the lab, the pharmacy and billing without a paper slip.

Patients and ID cards

Quick registration that catches duplicates, print ID cards with a QR code, find anyone by name, phone or old file number.

Queue and appointments

See who is waiting at each stage and for how long, with urgent patients first. Appointment reminders go out by SMS.

Consultations

Vitals with out-of-range flags, notes that are locked once signed, ICD-10 diagnoses, and a flag on diseases that must be reported.

Laboratory

Sample labels, reference ranges by age and sex, critical-value alerts, a second person to verify, printed reports, and quality control logs.

Pharmacy and stock

Dispense from prescriptions, the batch that expires first goes out first, reorder levels and stock counts. Allergy and interaction warnings when prescribing.

Billing in LRD and USD

Charges flow in from lab and pharmacy, the day's exchange rate, cash and mobile money, receipts on thermal printers, and end-of-day cash closing.

Insurance claims

Design each insurer's claim form by dragging fields into place. Claims fill themselves from the visit, carry their documents, and are tracked to payment.

Maternal and child health

Antenatal visits, deliveries, an immunization schedule you can adjust, with due-date reminders, and growth charts.

Chronic care

Hypertension, diabetes, HIV and TB registers: who is due, who missed a visit, who is lost to follow-up, and how many are controlled.

Inpatient care

Wards and beds, admissions, nursing notes and a medication administration record.

Reports

Daily register, morbidity, lab positivity, revenue, doctor workload and the weekly notifiable disease report, ready to print or export.

Your old records come too

Bring in your patient register from Excel or a typed-up paper register. Old file numbers keep working.

Designed for Liberia

No network? The clinic keeps going.

Every record is saved on the device first and sent to the cloud when a connection returns, even days later. Two devices that worked apart end up with the same records.

  • Nothing waits for the internetRegistering, notes, lab results, dispensing and payments all work offline.
  • Patient numbers never clashEach device has its own block of numbers, so IDs made offline stay unique.
  • Safe if a phone is lostRecords on the device are encrypted and the clinic admin can switch a device off from anywhere.
  • Light on data and powerOnly changes travel, photos are shrunk on the phone, and it runs on low-cost Android phones.

Work goes on with no network; it syncs on its own when the connection returns.

Details that matter

Safety and follow-up, built in

Small things that protect patients and save staff time every day.

Alerts for the county team

A suspected Lassa or measles case reaches the health authorities as an alert, with counts only. Shown with demonstration data.

For the Ministry, NPHIL and county health teams

See outbreaks as they start, county by county

Clinics on ClinicLR can share weekly counts of notifiable diseases with health authorities. Officials see alerts, trends and which facilities have gone quiet, without seeing a single patient record.

  • Alerts that follow IDSR practiceOne suspected case of Ebola, Lassa fever, cholera or measles raises an immediate alert; others alert when a county's week is well above normal.
  • National or county viewsEach account sees the whole country or its own counties.
  • A weekly bulletin in one clickPrint it for meetings or export the counts.

Counts only: no names, numbers or records leave the clinics, and each clinic can see and control what it shares.

Roles and permissions

Doctors, nurses, lab, pharmacy, reception and cashiers each see only their work. Clinics can make their own roles.

Confidential records

Sensitive records, such as HIV care, are hidden from roles without access. Emergency access is allowed, with the reason recorded.

Audit log and backups

Who saw or changed what, and when. Signed notes cannot be changed, only amended. Encrypted backups every night.

Questions

What clinics ask us

Do we need internet all the time?

No. Everything works offline and syncs when a connection is available. Each device needs to connect at least once a month; a mobile data bundle is enough.

What devices do we need?

Any recent Android phone or tablet, or a laptop or desktop with Chrome or Edge. Most clinics start with one device at reception and one per consultation room. Thermal receipt printers and ID card printers are supported.

What happens to our paper records?

You can import an existing register from Excel, type a paper register into our template, or register patients as they come. Old file numbers stay searchable.

Who owns the data?

Your clinic does. Each clinic's records are kept apart from every other clinic's, backed up every night, and can be exported. Health authorities only see weekly disease counts, never patient records, and only if your clinic shares them.

What if a phone is lost or stolen?

Records on the device are encrypted. The clinic admin switches the device off from another device, and it is wiped the next time it connects.

Can it handle insurance and company patients?

Yes, on the Premium plan: set what each insurer covers, design its claim form, attach documents, and track each claim until the insurer pays.

Ready to leave paper behind?

Ten pilot places, free for a year from the day we set up. Tell us about your clinic in three minutes and see what you need to get started.
